REAL photography award

The REAL Photography Award is a new, exclusive ING Real Estate initiative to promote international contemporary photography inspired by the theme Development, Nature and Architecture.

The first REAL Photography Award winner will be announced in March 2008.

Theme: "Development, Nature and Architecture".

• Prize: EUR 50,000 for the winner selected on the basis of work submitted specially for the award.
• Frequency: The award will be presented every two years (the next award will be presented in 2010).
• Eligibility: The award is open to all photographers of all nationalities.
• International jury: Members who have earned their spurs in the areas of modern art, architecture and photography, will select the winner
• Exhibition and catalogue: The 30 best photographs will be displayed in an exclusive traveling exhibition; the exhibited works will also be published in the exhibition catalogue.
• Submissions: Photographers are requested to submit one participating and two supporting photographs. All photographs must have been taken within the two preceding years.
