ING Retail Property Fund Australia is an unlisted property fund established to invest in retail assets. The fund’s management is committed to maintaining a modern and attractive retail property portfolio to meet the needs of retailers and the community.
The Fund’s diversified portfolio includes 18 properties – nine retail, five outlet and four homemaker centres – throughout Australia and New Zealand. The total asset value exceeds A$1.6 billion (as at 30 June 2008).
Strategy
Our Fund’s team of dedicated and experienced retail specialists pursue the following fund management strategy:
- We take a hands-on management approach to obtain maximum occupancy within a strategically predetermined tenancy mix. We employ a team of specialist property managers, who take care of the day-to-day running of our centres and maintain close working relationships with our tenants.
- We work in partnership with retailers, community groups and customers to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of the communities that are served by our centres.
- We maintain a significant development pipeline. Currently, we have a significant amount of development projects proposed over the next few years. These range from centre refurbishments focused on improving ambience and customer amenity to major mall expansions featuring new anchor tenants and specialty retailing.
