When one is looking at the topic of office buildings and parks, they may get confused with thinking this is referring to green space. What it is actually referring to is a business park.
What Is a Business Park?
A business park is where usually a large piece of land is used to house multiple office buildings in one location. Sometimes these are referred to as office parks.
Business Parks in Australia
Australia has recognized the importance of business parks, and there are several of them that have proven to be very successful. These include:
- Sydney Business Park.
- Australian Business Park.
- Quad Business Park.
- Lane Cove Business Park.
Along with several others.
The Benefits of the Business Parks
There are a lot of conveniences that come with the business parks both for those that own them, work in them, and use them as clients.
Parking Convenience
Most business parks allow for ample parking which is an excellent solution for what is usually a difficult problem to deal with. Businesses in the downtown cores of a city often have to struggle with not being able to provide enough parking for their clients.
Easier Access
With several businesses being collected in one area, they can provide easier access for their clients. One example is the larger sidewalks that are constructed. It allows for more comfortable moving around and less congestion.
Functionality
Many of the older style business parks were built with functionality in mind.
Newer Approaches
While all of the above concepts are still important, there are more modern ideas not being applied to the business parks, which is putting the focus on style and form. Keeping in mind that many of these business parks are built in suburban areas where the land is readily available. Builders and planners always have to keep in mind what is going to be necessary to draw not only the buyers but their clients as well.
